* Foreign secondary school leaving certificates or higher education entrance qualifications must be recognised as equivalent to the German general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification. For more info on this, please go to: (Admissions Info).
** Selection of usual academic subjects. The specific range of studies/programmes offered by each higher education institution can be checked in the database HEI Guide.
*** When making your choice, please ensure that you check that the institution has "state recognition". The database HEI Profiles will help you check which private universities have such state recognition, because the database only lists state-recognised institutions.
