Application for Research Grants and Study Scholarships

You will have to download the DAAD Application for Research Grants and Study Scholarships as a PDF file, print and complete it, and mail it along with your application documents. Choose your desired language:

Application form for admission to studies for foreign applicants

Please note that some Higher Education Institutions in certain federal states of Germany (e.g. Bavaria) do not accept the application form you find here.
Please make sure before applying to a certain University or Fachhochschule that the application form will be accepted. You will find further information on the homepages of the Higher Education Instituions .

Please also note, that you have to send your application via the Admission Service uni-assist when the university of your choice is a member of uni-assist (more information can be found here).
